Service was exceptional Walleye & prime rib exceptional Huge sides: loaded bake potato-not so great Asparagus-sauce was cold & claggy Popovers & house salad- exceptional

Everything was wonderful: food, service, atmosphere. Olga was the server for our whole group of 12! She was great! My steak was done perfectly! The bearnaise sauce was a tasty accompaniment. My husband and I shared the side of au gratin potatoes. I had to ask for the recipe! Best ever! Drinks were good and not watered down. Nice supper club vibe. Family-friendly. We'll definitely dine there again.

We have never been disappointed. I go once or twice a month. Ambiance is relaxing as is the music (not a distraction). Did brunch last Sunday. The crab cake eggs Benedict were off the chart. Fabulous as is everything I've ever ordered. Great service adds to the total experience. BTW seasonal outdoor patio is very nice.

Jensen's has been one of my family's favorite go-to spots for probably 20 years. If you're looking for a classic supper club style dining experience, they are consistently providing good service and great food. Steaks are always well prepared, every meal comes with fresh baked popovers (one of my family's favorite things) and they have an excellent bar (arguably the best martini south of the river). My son loves to get a steak AND a side (another meal) of their lobster Mac and cheese. It can be a bit loud at dinner, but there are some more intimate tables as well. We have tons of great birthday, anniversary and celebration memories that we have shared at this solid classic.

I've visited Jensen's twice since my initial review, and each time has been a fantastic experience. The service is outstanding, the food is always top notch, and the restaurant is consistently clean, bathrooms included. I really appreciate that they don't leave you waiting for a check in; good service like that is priceless. It's clear why they've been around for so long; they truly have it all figured out. A big thank you to Jensen's and the staff for making every visit a pleasure!

My cousin & I were looking for a place to grab dinner and a drink near Burnsville. My cousin was feeling coconut shrimp & crab cakes and Jensen's has both. I briefly skimmed the menu as well prior to going but didn't fully realize it was a steakhouse until we got the actual menu. When we first arrived it wasn't too busy, right before dinner time but as the time passed it did pick up. The crowd was mostly older people. We ordered the Malibu beach for drinks and it was tropical & good. For appetizers we ordered the coconut shrimp (my cousin) & spinach artichoke dip. My cousin enjoyed the shrimp and the spinach artichoke was really good, it had a nice little kick to it as well. For dinner my cousin ordered the steak tip pasta which came with a salad & popovers & I ordered a loaded baked potato w/ no bacon bits. The food was good. The prices definitely told me it was a bit of a fancier restaurant but on par with most steak houses. Our server was nice, very attentive. She would come by and clear the finished dishes often. Overall a decent restaurant, not sure I'd personally go back due to limited options for my personal diet but if you like steak I'd say maybe try it.

The popovers is POPPIN'! It's definitely a must have. I think you'll get popover when you order any foods. Went to lunch here with some friends. She really loves this place and came here often. It was my first time. I had the 1/2 salad + 1/2 soup: Shrimp Caesar Salad: Shrimp is nicely cooked and seasoned. The salad is heavy on the dressing. note to self to get lightly dressed next time. French onion soup: It has really nice seasoning and great cheese tops, it is too salty for my taste. But perfect to dip your amazing popover. The place is really cozy like old school cocktail restaurant. The service is excellent.

This was a dining experience I wasn't expecting. When I think of Jensens I think of brunch and coffee early morning dining. This place is the opposite. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance that gives off a little more elevated look than the popular brunch spot. Our waiter was great. He gave us good recommendations & stories of his experiences working there from pretty much when they opened Jensen's Food and Cocktail. They serve food family style so coming here with a group is recommended. What we ordered- Blackened Beef Tip - The tips were tender and well-seasoned the tomatoes were surprisingly cold but delicious the sauces were a great accompaniment but weren't really needed. 5/5 Spinach artichoke dip - was our table favorite app. 5/5 Pop-overs - this is a delicious ball of dough we all thought we wouldn't eat but somehow disappeared in 1.25 seconds. 5/5 Blackened prime rib- big thick and juicy no need for the Au Jus. 5/5 definitely recommend. Bone-in pork chop - seasoned well and tasted good - 5/5 Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail- after eating the prime rib this meal just seemed meh 4/5 Jensen's Manhattan- 5/5 -let me tell you when saw $16 for a drink in a martini glass we said no but the waiter assured us it was worth it. Well, it was because it comes with a side glass of the Manhattan cocktail so you can continue to make 3 martini glasses worth of Manhattans. Tiramisu - I would pass on it unless you like the chocolate drizzles on top - me not so much. 3/5 Creme brulee- it was beautiful on top but after you cracked it. It was liquid, the taste was there but the texture was not. 2/5 NY Cheesecake with raspberries - 5/5 This is the dessert to order. Hope you guys enjoy Jensens as much as we did! We will definitely be coming back.
